CURRENT COACHING CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The following are the coaching certification requirements that will expire at the end of the 2014-15 season (July 1, 2015)




NEW COACHING CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The changes in the USSF coaching curriculum has required NHSA to updated the coaching certification requirements.  The new standards will take effect the start of the 2015-16 season (September 2015).   The 2014-15 season has served as a transition year.  The NH coaching community has had 18 months to update their coaching certification in order to meet the new standards that will begin in the fall of 2015.  

The new standards are as follows:



Definition of 'Competitive' and 'Travel/Recreational' pathway categories:




Coach Jeffrey Cousineau, Director of Coaching Education, was a presenter at the NHSA Annual General Meeting, on February 28.   At the AGM, Coach Cousineau discussed the new coaching certification requirements and the benefits of the new two pathway for coaching education in NH.  Coach Cousineau also described the new partnership between NHSA and NSCAA.
