As a member of NHSA it is our obligation to inform you of which Indoor Soccer facilities are sanctioned by NHSA. Why is it important for you to be aware of the facilities that are NHSA sanctioned? NHSA provides many benefits to our members, coaching clinics, player clinics, statewide tournaments, etc. Among the benefits we provide is insurance coverage. This is not simply a secondary health insurance. It provides liability, and in some cases, primary health coverage. Below is a list of benefits that our members receive by participating at NHSA sanctioned Indoor facilities.

What does a sanctioned facility provide to you as a player, coach, administrator and executive board member?
  • Accountability to NHSA, USYSA, and USSF. Affiliated Indoor Soccer Facilities will be expected to follow established guidelines. NHSA will not accept any grievances or protest from a non-sanctioned facility

  • Certified USSF Referees. Certified USSF referees are not allowed to officiate any match as a USSF referee unless the match is sanctioned.

  • State Indoor Soccer Tournament.

  • Secondary health coverage (with a deductible), for all players and coaches for any accident that may occur during a match or practice at an indoor facility.

  • Primary health coverage (with a deductible), if the member does not have any health insurance, for all players and coaches for any accident that may occur during a match or practice at an indoor facility.

  • Coach’s liability coverage for a claim of negligence causing an injury for any accident that may occur during a match or practice at an indoor facility.

  • League liability coverage for a claim of negligence causing an injury for any accident that may occur during a match or practice at an indoor facility.

  • Coach’s liability coverage for accusations of any child molestation for any accident that may occur during a match or practice at an indoor facility.

  • League liability coverage for accusations of any child molestation for any accident that may occur during a match or practice at an indoor facility.

  • League / Club Board of Director liability insurance on any claim against them for any incident that may occur during a match or practice at an indoor facility.

If a NHSA league, club, coach, or player sends or goes to an unaffiliated indoor facility, they are assuming all liabilities.

We would caution leagues and clubs from allowing teams to wear your league or club uniforms with your logos to non-sanction facilities. This would imply to most, including players and their parents, that as a league or club, you are endorsing your team’s participation in a non-sanctioned facility.
